Rev. Ben & Rackel Grenier serve as the children pastors at Glad Tidings A/G. Both attended Valley Forge Christian College in Phoenixville, PA and graduated in 2008. Ben graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry, with a focus on children’s ministry. Rackel graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education. Following graduation, Ben interned with a children’s evangelism group called Thunder Media Ministry where he was able to see many children chose to follow Christ. After finishing with his internship, Ben worked in various ministries until a local church position became available. On October 4, 2009 Ben was hired as the children’s pastor at Glad Tidings A/G. Shortly after, in December 2009, Ben and Rackel were married. Ben & Rackel have heart for Jesus and a desire to train the leaders of tomorrow, the children!
Ben was raised in upstate New York where his father has been the lead pastor at a church for 20 years and counting. There in New York, Ben found a love for God, for nature, for children and for Royal Rangers (Christian form of Boy Scouts) where he achieved the top award of Gold Medal of Achievement. Rackel was born and raised during her early years in Jamaica. Upon becoming a teen, her family moved to New Jersey where she got connected with and involved in their children’s ministry.
Ben enjoys swimming, camping, building anything, and figuring out how things work. Rackel enjoys making jewelry, watching movies, and reading the latest children’s novels. Both Ben and Rackel are excited and blessed to be here at Glad Tidings A/G and are looking forward to what the Lord is going to do here!
